First things first: sorry, markdownpart has nothing to do with this. But it has a product here on bugzilla, should you need to create a bug: https://bugs.kde.org/enter_bug.cgi?product=markdownpart Okular already has had a markdown component for more than 3 years. It depends on the 'discount' library. Please check with your distribution if this is compiled in.
Not downstream, bug bounced.
There is a Markdown component. If it's not shipped it's a downstream problem. If it's buggy, please report the specific problem (like bug 439262 seems to hint), but again, a Markdown component does exist.
(In reply to Luigi Toscano from comment #6) > There is a Markdown component. There is a Markdown engine in Okular but you cannot report a bug against it. > If it's not shipped it's a downstream problem. The engine is shipped and I have it plugged into Okular, hence I have a bug I would like to report against it and I cannot. > If it's buggy, please report the specific problem (like bug 439262 seems to hint), but again, a Markdown component does exist. The component does not exist, 439262 has been moved to the general component which is wrong.
Summertime. Let's play again in these funny games with Christofer.
And this is still wrong. A bug against Okular is about reporting a missing backend *in a product code*. You want to report a bug against this instance of bugzilla, which has its own component.
But it doesn't block the other bug.
