SUMMARY The cursor theme changes from Breeze Light to Breeze Dark when in bounds of the Konsole window. This bug occures randomly. Here's an example: https://grzesiek11.stary.pc.pl/files/vids/konsole_cursor.mp4 STEPS TO REPRODUCE 1. Set cursor theme to Breeze Light. 2. Open Konsole. 3. Do something to make the bug occur (usually minimising Konsole for a long time does it for me). 4. Move the mouse cursor inside the Konsole window. 5. Move the mouse cursor outside the Konsole window. OBSERVED RESULT The cursor theme changes to Breeze Dark while in the Konsole window. EXPECTED RESULT The cursor theme stays the same (Breeze Light) no matter what I do. SOFTWARE/OS VERSIONS Operating System: Debian GNU/Linux 11 (Sid) KDE Plasma Version: 5.22.2 KDE Frameworks Version: 5.83.0 Qt Version: 5.15.2 Kernel Version: 5.12.0-13.1-liquorix-amd64 (64-bit) Graphics Platform: X11 Processors: 4 × Intel® Core™ i5-2400 CPU @ 3.10GHz Memory: 11.7 GiB of RAM Graphics Processor: GeForce GTX 660/PCIe/SSE2 ADDITIONAL INFORMATION I don't know if this is a Plasma, Breeze or Konsole bug, but it only happens in Konsole to me.
Only in Konsole, eh? I wonder if this caused by Konsole's use by CSS stylesheets, which don't update in real-time in response to theme changes (only when the app is restarted). Does it work if you quit and restart Konsole? If so, that would seem to support my theory.
Yes, if I restart Konsole it fixes itself. But it still can occur in the new window at random. I'm not changing the theme though. It just happens. Also, I *think* it happened in Dolphin once since I reported this. I can't reproduce this one though, and I'm not even sure that it happened...
Bumping up the version, just reproduced this on 21.04.3.
