fullscreen(for clip monitor) on/off is also lagging as hell
Comment 2 emohr 2021-06-27 09:32:44 UTC
Please try with the AppImage to see if there are any packaging issue. What type of clip do you use (i.e. 1080p50)?

kdenlive-21.07.70-71c58a7-x86_64.appimage working better, but still noticeable interface redraw

2704x1520 59.94 fps 100 Mbit/s h264

Your clip is really heavy to play for Kdenlive. Do you have a 4K monitor? If not it makes no sense to play the clip 1:1. As Workaround/test: set the "preview resolution" (monitor bottom left) to 720p or lower. Does it play better?

Ooh, is see. What do you mean by "lagging"? The clip in the monitor doesn't following resizing or just with same delay? Can you post an example video?

Please try with flatpak or appimage to check if it's still so laggy and crashing. Do you use a nightly or master build?
