Description Gen 2021-06-25 08:28:23 UTC
I was animating with an audio and it started being very distorted and glitchy the first time it played. I thought that this was normal and continued to go frame by frame according to when the start of the words played but it became very tedious as it was very unclear. Later, it started to go back to normal (??) and the audio played fine. However, I found out that my whole animation did not go with the sync.

I tried to salvage my work and moved frames according to the audio again but each time I moved to a different frame, the audio played unaccordingly to its assigned frame.

For example, the sentence "Apple's are my favorite." would play correctly from the start. But let's say that the start of the word "are" started the 30th frame. If I started playing the audio again from the 30th frame, it would not start from there and play on a very early queue. This makes animating to the audio very hard.

Are you sure you reported this to the correct application? Amarok is a pure audio player, if you are animating sequences then you should be using Kdenlive or Krita, no?

I’m not entirely familiar with Kdenlive?

You didn't answer my question...
anyway, Amarok is not meant to be used to animate, please check out Kdenlive or Krita, you can get them in all distributions

You mean you want to have this bug reassigned to Krita? You didn't really answer my questions correctly, and please do not add your answer as an attachment.
