SUMMARY This configuration module just doesn't work on my notebook STEPS TO REPRODUCE 1.Trying to turn this mode on or off just doesn't work. Works for me. I suspect some packages may be missing, maybe?
Unlikely to be missing packages. There are 3 possible causes: 1) the driver doesn't support gamma ramps 2) some other software is changing the gamma ramps back (i.e kgamma, or redshift) 3) we have a bug in our code To rule out 1, can you run: xrandr -q --output DP-2 --gamma 1:1:0.5 and confirm your screen becomes a horrible shade of greeny-yellow. (where DP-2 is the name of your output from xrandr -q) Set everything back to 1 to rest. Can you also include screenshots of your night settings

xrandr command works nice, but configuration module make no change.
I rebooted system after redshift remotion
So when you run `xrandr -q --output eDP-1 --gamma 1:1:0.5`, does everything turn green?
