Description Germano Massullo 2021-06-23 13:59:26 UTC
Okular print cannot stretch smaller pages to bigger paper format

To reproduce:
1) Download
https://climatizzazione.mitsubishielectric.it/uploads/document/catalogo-residenziale_2021_4930.pdf
2) in Okular page selection set page 23 of 64
3) Print -> Current page -> Properties A3 format (I have setted A3 also in printer system settings) -> PDF Options: scale option: adapt to page

Instead of printing an A3 page with its content stretched to the page size, Okular has printed the page as an A4 format. I also tried with Evince and it prints correctly instead.

I also tried with Okular, to print to a PDF and this time the A3 page contains a proper A3 sized document. So I am wondering if the problem originated by Okular, or Qt, or CUPS.

I am available to run any necessary test for better investigating the problem.

Fedora 34
Okular 20.12.2
Qt 5.15.2
KDE Frameworks 5.82.0

Did you check the "Force Rasterization" checkbox? If not, does it work if you do?

I did not check and at the moment I don't have an A3 printer easily accessible. I have to schedule a test and go to an office that has it

I asked because you have to, and then it works. :)
