Description herb 2021-06-23 09:58:18 UTC
SUMMARY
I need your help in order to enhance the German translation

In digikam.po I find many entries (about 100) - similar to the following examples -

#: core/libs/widgets/metadata/exiftool/exiftoollistviewgroup.cpp:56
#, kde-format
msgid "AXS File Concatenation Protocol"
msgstr ""

#. +> trunk5
#: core/libs/widgets/metadata/exiftool/exiftoollistviewgroup.cpp:60
#, fuzzy, kde-format
msgid "Audio Interchange File Format"
msgstr "Audio Interchange File Format AIFF"

but it is unclear to me which panel/area I have to open for "exiftoollistviewgroup" to see the text-strings.

Thanks for your help in advance

These strings are title of groups discovered by ExifTool in metadata of files. They appears if file contains this kind of groups.

For the images, common are Exif, Iptc, Xmp, etc.

Both that you list in this report are not relevant of images. One is a protocol, second one is for audio files.

These titles are root entries in ExifTool list view from Metadata right sidebar.

Hello,

yes I see; the output in Exiftool tab is grouped.
With mouse hovering over such a header one of the "exiftoollistviewgroup" strings is displayed.

Thanks for your help.
Best regards
