Description Paul Worrall 2021-06-21 16:29:37 UTC
SUMMARY

STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Wayland session with more than one activity
2. Right-Click on window title bar and point to "Show In Activities" so that the submenu appears

OBSERVED RESULT
1. The submenu often appears only briefly before the "Show in Activities" loses the focus and the submenu disappears. I sometimes have to try several times before the submenu stays present long enough to move the mouse pointer over it.

2. (Less important) If the submenu stays long enough to move the pointer to it, the highlighter is only shown when the pointer is over the top "All activities" item, it doesn't follow the pointer to the individual activities, although they can be selected ok with a mouse click.

EXPECTED RESULT
1. "Show in Activities" menu remains highlighted while the pointer is over it so that the pointer can be moved to the submenu

2. While over the submenu the highlighter should follow the mouse pointer

I remember a time when this wasn't working. I think it's working now, can you still reproduce?

Seems OK now for me.
