(*** This bug was imported into bugs.kde.org ***) Package: konqueror Version: KDE 3.0.1 Severity: wishlist Installed from: Mandrake RPMs Compiler: gcc 3.1.1 OS: Linux OS/Compiler notes: Not Specified I'm pretty sure KDE could detect which filesystem type it's running on so with that in mind... Could you please add ACL support to the KDE file property permissions page. I think the best way to implement it is to add a button to the page called "Advanced" that chain-loads another dialogue and passes the file or folder path as a parameter to edit the ACL meta-data. If the FS' that KDE is browsing does NOT support ACLs or is not local then the button would preferably not be present. This could also be added into like a security manager kcontrol module as a feature that could be turned on or off. (Submitted via bugs.kde.org)
