SideBar doesn't launch when toggled.

your layout you sent has a top panel and a bottom panel, nothing else. Where is your sidebar?

I'm supposed to create a sidebar?  Didn't know that.  How can I do that?

:)

 - right click Dock -> Add dock/panel -> Empty panel
 - move your empty panel to left or right edge whatever you prefer
 - set the visibility mode for your empty panel to: "On Demand Sidebar"
 - from the sidebar button applet just choose the edge that your sidebar is present or choose "All Edges"

I didn't change anything.  

I usually leave the status changes to the developer/maintainer so I just left it as is.  Thought you were gonna close it?
