Created attachment 139421 [details] Undeletable copy of an online image SUMMARY Hello there. I have downloaded the new 4.5 since I originally had an older version of this software. However, unlike in the 3.0 version, there are a lot of issues with 4.5. For example, when I try to scroll through the layers, it doesn't even scroll, instead, the scroll bar goes up and down like crazy. There is also an instance where I inserted an online imagine for reference. That image made a smaller copy of itself and, I can't delete or erase it! Also, when I try to open a file, the window becomes white. In the older version, this happened only when the program was being overloaded, not when I tried to open a file or make a new one! EXPECTED RESULT I expect that you will find out what caused these issues, and either remove that code or change it. Otherwise, I can't use this program for my art any longer. SOFTWARE/OS VERSIONS Windows: Windows 10, version 21H1 Linux/KDE Plasma: 4.4.5.0

There should be only one bug for bug report, not three. > There is also an instance where I inserted an online imagine for reference. That image made a smaller copy of itself and, I can't delete or erase it! Have you tried using Reference Images Tool? You probably imported it as a reference image instead of as a layer. > Also, when I try to open a file, the window becomes white. It looks like it freezes for some reason, please attach Help -> Show Krita log for bug reports. Also check if switching to the other Renderer in Configure Krita -> Display helps. > For example, when I try to scroll through the layers, it doesn't even scroll, instead, the scroll bar goes up and down like crazy. Works fine for me. Do you expect the current selected layer to change when you scroll in the Layers Docker?
Created attachment 139454 [details] KritaUsageLog.txt Hey Tiar, Thank you for helping me out with this. I have got rid of the reference image since I accidentally upload it as a reference. I switched to a different render after downloading the Krita log, it still has problems, but it seems to be working better now. No, I didn't expect the current layer to change when I scroll down. When I scrolled down through my layers, it wouldn't let me go down or up. And when I pulled the scroll bar down or up, it went to the original location immediately. So, I needed to use the arrows on the top and bottom of the scroll bar to go down or up. I have attached the Krita log to this email. Thank you for the help! Thanks for your comment! Automatically switching the status of this bug to REPORTED so that the KDE team knows that the bug is ready to get confirmed. In the future you may also do this yourself when providing needed information.
Thank you so much! I also had a chance to catch the bug again (please see the attached.) I am unsure if it's my tablet or the application since I didn't witness this happen on my computer. However, this never happened in the older version of Krita when I used it on my tablet. Do you by any chance have "Kinetic Scrolling" enabled in settings and have it set to click drag? In "Configure Krita", go to the "General" section, under the "Tools" tab try disabling "Kinetic Scrolling", then restart Krita and see if that fixes the issue you are describing.
Created attachment 139555 [details] attachment-10869-0.html That worked! Thank you. 🙂 On Sun, Jun 20, 2021 at 4:51 AM Alvin Wong <bugzilla_noreply@kde.org> wrote: > https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=438778 > > Alvin Wong <alvin@alvinhc.com> changed: > > What |Removed |Added > > ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- > CC| |alvin@alvinhc.com > > --- Comment #7 from Alvin Wong <alvin@alvinhc.com> --- > Do you by any chance have "Kinetic Scrolling" enabled in settings and have > it > set to click drag?
