Make autofill work based on the last category:subcategory. The category of a transaction is more important than the payee. Some transactions do not even have a payee. Example: I buy petrol for the car. In this case, I select the category and subcategory. It would be great if autofill would copy the payee, amount, tags and memo fields from the previous transaction.
I guess what you suggest is that if one starts typing in the Category field, autocomplete should work there, too. We can absolutely have both the existing Payee autocomplete and such new Category autocomplete – they’re not exclusive.
Then it would be great if we can also have autofill after selecting category:subcategory.
