Add an option to see the totals for accounts, categories and subcategories, right in their respective views. Sort of like GnuCash shows. This would help the user see all the sums at a glance, and in a familiar environment. No need to use reports for this.
Those values are (or should be able to be) shown in the appropriate views. Try right clicking on the header in the view, and you should get a pop-up with all the available columns. There currently seems to be a problem that soemthing has gotten out of sync, so you may need to un-check a column, and then re-check it to get it to show. You might also need to scroll the display to the right in case one of the columns is too wide. I don't believe the Windows should be any different from Linux for this feature.
