The "ok" and "apply" buttons for applications/system settings are becoming a thing of the past. Windows, GNOME, macOS don't use this design approach anymore. This might sound like "do it just because others are doing", but ditching these buttons would require less clicks to apply the settings and would create more familiarity with nowadays computer usability.
This is a huge change and as such not within scope for a bug report.
Should I propose this in Phabricator?
