Created attachment 139351 [details] Kdialog not save files in network shares SUMMARY STEPS TO REPRODUCE 1. Open google-chrome 2. Start save As 3. kdialog is running and not xdg-desktop-portal-kde OBSERVED RESULT kdialog does not offer network save function and is used instead of xdg-desktop-portal-kde I have tried everything including creating symbolic link but I was unsuccessful EXPECTED RESULT this problem can be solved simply by opening xdg-desktop-portal-kde just like firefox does and everything works perfectly. SOFTWARE/OS VERSIONS Windows: macOS: Linux/KDE Plasma: Kde-Neon 5.22 (available in About System) KDE Plasma Version: 5.22 KDE Frameworks Version: 5.83 Qt Version: 5.15.3 ADDITIONAL INFORMATION

Why this is an issue in xdg-desktop-portal-kde? We have no way how to force Chrome to use xdp-kde from our side. I also don't think it should actually use it. If you want this bug to be fixed, you have to open an issue for Chromium instead.
