New Plasma transparent elements too bright

The new Plasma transparent elements are too bright and too saturated. I guess such an effect mimics a translucent glass over the background color, so both brightness and saturation should be slightly dulled. But now it is intensified, so it really looks out of place.

Before KF 5.83.0 update the color looked fine in Plasma 5.22. It only got worse after KF 5.83.0 is pushed for Archlinux. Something wrong with the sampling algorithm maybe?

Operating System: Arch Linux
KDE Plasma Version: 5.22.0
KDE Frameworks Version: 5.83.0
Qt Version: 5.15.2

The situation did not happen on another system with the exact same software arrangement. Could be an isolated case. I will set this to NEEDSINFO and follow it up later.

It happens to my laptop when using an external display (the internal display disabled at login). It could be a color management issue though, because colord-kde cannot handle color profiles correctly when switching off one display at login. It doesn't look as bright and saturated as the attached picture.
