SUMMARY I don't know if you received this (I closed the window accidentally before this page had finished submitting - I had tried to attach the recording before checking that it was too big) already but apologies for repeat if so. I was making a video explaining how to set the default duration on image clips so recorded it. I have placed it on my youtube channel: https://youtu.be/BzL9l2eC3cc I clicked on Settings -> Configure kdenlive then set the default duration in the Image clip box. I only tested it on small seconds and hundredths of seconds. When I set it to 00:00:00:50, then copied the clips they had been set to 00:00:02:00. When I tried 00:00:00:80 then opened them they were set to 00:00:03:05 STEPS TO REPRODUCE 1. Settings -> Configure kdenlive 2. set the default duration in the Image clip box to a value less than a second 3. Add image clips to the project OBSERVED RESULT The duration which was set was unexpected EXPECTED RESULT I expected the duration to be what I had added SOFTWARE/OS VERSIONS Windows: 10 Home macOS: Linux/KDE Plasma: (available in About System) KDE Plasma Version: KDE Frameworks Version: Qt Version: ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
The video is set to privat, can't see it. When your project setting is, lets say 1080p25(fps) and you put in the image settings 00:00:00:50 = 50fps -> this will give a 2sec image. Set to 00:00:00:80 = 80fps / 25fps = 3sec + 5frame. If this happen, tis is correct and not a bug.

If this happen, tis is correct and not a bug. Can you please check if (taking @emohr's explanation in to account) this report is still relevant? If so it would be nice if you can give us access to the video (it is private as already mentioned)
Created attachment 139817 [details] attachment-17636-0.html Thank you for letting me know. That is exactly what happens. So it is not a bug at all. Closing this since this is not a bug (Comment 6).
