Take a screenshot with Spectacle 3. Press "Copy to clipboard" 4. In Libre Writer, press "Ctrl-v", or right click and choose "Paste" OBSERVED RESULT The screenshot isn't pasted EXPECTED RESULT The screenshot appears on Libre Writer, like on X11 session SOFTWARE/OS VERSIONS Linux/KDE Plasma: Archlinux KDE Plasma Version: 5.22.0 KDE Frameworks Version: 5.82.0 Qt Version: 5.15.2 ADDITIONAL INFORMATION Also tested on a fresh user account. Pasting successes through Google Docs on Firefox 88 (ran via MOZ_ENABLE_WAYLAND=1).
Does Libre Writer run with native wayland support? You can verify that by running xprop in terminal and clicking the libreoffice window.

Can confirm with LibreOffice running in Wayland mode. Since the image is added to the clipboard successfully, it means that the fault is with LibreOffice. You should report it to them at https://bugs.documentfoundation.org/. Notably, this works for me with GIMP running in XWayland mode.

Should I mention to the Document Foundation that this bug is against Qt, or KDE applications? Since a circular way works funnily: Spectacle -> GIMP -> Libre Writer.
