Description Alexander M. 2021-06-10 08:59:10 UTC
SUMMARY
When Kickoff is opened, if you press pretty much any navigational (e.g. arrows or Tab) or modifier key (Ctrl, Alt, Caps) then the selection marker(s) will become dimmed.

The behavior is somewhat unpredictable, in that either one or both of the selection markers (left pane and right pane) can be dimmed; and they can stay dimmed until the selection marker is forced to refresh by changing the category or hovering the mouse over an app, or they can become undimmed on their own; and they can stay dimmed, or they can become undimmed if you move the mouse, or they can flicker between dimmed and undimmed seemingly on their own (this only happened one time).

This happens both with the default Breeze theme and with custom themes.

STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Launch Kickoff
2. Press any of the aforementioned keys (Ctrl, Alt, Caps, Tab, arrow keys)

OBSERVED RESULT
One or both of the selection markers become dimmed.

EXPECTED RESULT
The selection markers should not become dimmed.

SOFTWARE/OS VERSIONS
KDE Plasma Version: 5.22
KDE Frameworks Version: 5.82
Qt Version: 5.15.2 + KDE patches

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
1. I'm on Nvidia.
2. With Tab you need to press it twice to produce the issue (the first press will just select the Settings cog button to the right).
