Testing with the Jun 07 5.0.0-prealpha (git dba5ce5) appimage on Debian 10:

The lock icons only appear if you activate them by clicking on them then they disappear if you click again to toggle them off.

Setting to Confirmed.
4.4.3 has the lock icons always present, hence regression.
