Other informations: I have to say i launched precedently an other digikam git version with this compiling option: -DENABLE_MEDIAPLAYER=OFF It worked but new thumbnails video didn't appear. So, back to normal way. I re-compiled digikam git: -DENABLE_MEDIAPLAYER=ON And then, issue appeared when i tried to launch it
A GDB backtrace would be good. But we have been reported problems with QtAV on Arch Linux lately. We have hardly/no made any code changes in this area compared to digiKam-7.2.0. I suspect that our daily AppImage works without any problems. Maik
You should also compile digiKam without DBus, as your system probably does not support DBus. Maik
V(In reply to Maik Qualmann from comment #3) > You should also compile digiKam without DBus, as your system probably does > not support DBus. It's not DBus issue: I have 2 users on same computer. Digikam works fine for user 1. Same Digikam fails for user 2. Other thing: i tried to launch it without any config, i get same issue

Issue is solved: it comes from my desktop environment, enlightenment-git I can successfully launch digikam with openbox (but same error messages) Sorry for the noise
