If you switch the active color scheme to something else and then back again, is the issue fixed?

Thanks. And are you using the "Breeze" Plasma theme? Or the "Breeze Dark" Plasma theme? They are different. :) "Breeze" will respect your color scheme, while "Breeze Dark" will not.

Yep, that's how it works. :) If you want Plasma to respect your color scheme, you need to use a color-scheme-aware Plasma theme. The Plasma theme page in System Settings tells you which ones respect your color scheme.
