SUMMARY
Scan For Faces Manually naming more than one person is impossible when the filter is set - Images Without Face Tags

Manual Scan For Faces finds more individuals than an automatic solution.

STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Albums
2. To search for images without a face tag, I use the Images Without Face Tags filter.
3. Scan For Faces found 2+ faces in the image.
4. I will mark the name of the first face tag.

OBSERVED RESULT
If more than one person is worth tagging in the image, the filter condition closes the image after the first tag. Two or more people cannot be marked.

EXPECTED RESULT
Suggestion to delay the removal of an image from the list until the user has selected another image.
The same goes for the Image Without Tags filter, so you can, for example, tag a location tag and an action tag on an image at the same time.

@hannesj@hot.ee,

This problem still reproducible with the new digiKam 8.2.0 pre-release Windows
installer available at usual place:

https://files.kde.org/digikam/

This new bundle is based on last Qt framework 5.15.11 and KDE framework 5.110.

Thanks in advance

Hi,

The 8.7.0 pre-release Windows installer from today have been rebuilt from
scratch with Qt 6.8.3, KDE 6.12, OpenCV 4.11 + CUDA support, Exiv2 0.28.5, ExifTool 13.27, ffmpeg 7, all image codecs updated to last version (jxl, avif, heif, aom, etc.).

Please try with this version to see if your problem still reproducible...

Thanks in advance
Best regards
