Application Launcher

SUMMARY
When using plasma shell 5, fonts get corrupted in widgets which are scrollable when scrolling up or down with keyboard or mouse, or when hovering with the cursor.The issue is also present in applications that refreshes text periodically, like sysmonitor
This issue affects (non exhaustive list):
* application starter
* panels
* system settings
* sysmonitor

STEPS TO REPRODUCE

1. run plasma-shell
2. open any widget with scrollable content or that refreshes texts
3. scroll using your mouse wheel or keyboard arrows, or hover with the cursor

OBSERVED RESULT
fonts always get misrendered. Note that after moving your mouse these rendering issues are often gone.

EXPECTED RESULT
No font corruption.

SOFTWARE/OS VERSIONS

Linux/KDE Plasma: 5.12.9-arch1
(available in About System)
KDE Plasma Version: 5.21

Qt Version: 5

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
The panel text gets misrendered when the cursor gets idle for some time.
Interestingly, it does not occur in sysguard application
I've re-installed xorg, plasma, video drivers and the whole OS, nothing changed.
I've tried the old xf86-input-evdev solution, as stated in https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=358472, nothing changed.

These are cases of graphical corruption--probably driver related. What are your GPU hardware and drivers?
