SUMMARY On X11, System Monitor opens When I middle-click on a System Monitor widget on desktop. However, nothing happens when I do the same on Wayland. STEPS TO REPRODUCE 1. use Wayland 2. add a System Monitor widget to desktop 3. middle-click on the added System Monitor widget OBSERVED RESULT nothing happens EXPECTED RESULT System Monitor opens SOFTWARE/OS VERSIONS Operating System: KDE neon Unstable Edition KDE Plasma Version: 5.22.80 KDE Frameworks Version: 5.83.0 Qt Version: 5.15.3 Graphics Platform: Wayland
Can confirm. Looks like the desktop eats the shortcut, because a sticky note is opened instead if you I have that functionality active.
Currently System Monitor does not open when I middle-click a widget on X11 (a stick note is created instead) and System Monitor opens as expected on Wayland. But middle-click stops opening System Monitor on Wayland after restarting Plasma with "plasmashell --replace". Operating System: KDE neon Unstable Edition KDE Plasma Version: 5.22.80 KDE Frameworks Version: 5.85.0 Qt Version: 5.15.3 Graphics Platform: Wayland
When I middle-click I see the system monitor launching. Seems to work now, please reopen if that's not the case.
This bug persists on my neon unstable.
Can also reproduce on Wayland only.
