STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Have multiple files open (happens both with tabs or split view)
2. Open a view at the bottom of the window (eg: Konsole, GDB, etc.)
3. Switch file (click on another tab or split file)

OBSERVED RESULT

The bottom view is hidden, its button is still in its checked state as if it were visible but it isn't visible. You need to click the button twice to bring it back.

EXPECTED RESULT

It should stay on
