ADDITIONAL INFORMATION

The problem went away when I removed .local/share/konsole, and returns when I put  a profile colorscheme back into the directory from before the upgrade. The colorscheme includes a random rotating background color. When I reenable the  feature "Edit Current Profile" -> "Appearance" -> "Color Scheme & Font" -> "Edit" -> "Randomly adjust colors for each session", it again crashes, even if it was running successfully before.
Also Filed a bug with fedora. Don't know if its their bug
