SUMMARY
I recently came across a Reddit post about a new feature called KCommandBar coming to plasma. While personally I think it's a great feature, I would like to suggest that it be integrated into Krunner as a plugin, turned on by default. That way, people wouldn't have to learn a new shortcut and it'd increase the functionality of Krunner.
What I'm saying is Krunner would act as the KCommandBar for the ACTIVE application. Displaying it's settings. This would be good for the UI too as we can use Krunner's solid UI.

SOFTWARE/OS VERSIONS
Linux/KDE Plasma: Manjaro-KDE
(available in About System)
KDE Plasma Version: 5.21.5
KDE Frameworks Version: 5.82.0
Qt Version: 5.15.2

That is very interesting, I think it could be doable using a DBus runner.

If this is possible, it's a great idea.

There already exists a third-party plugin for this: https://store.kde.org/p/1487409/
