SUMMARY
Once per session, inserting or removing notebook power cable (if machine was turned on on battery or  if it was turned on with power cable on, respectively), or inserting then removing HDMI, reduces screen brightness automatically. After it happens once, it won't happen again until system reboot.

STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Turn on notebook on battery
2. Insert power cable

or

1. Turn on notebook on ac power
2. Remove power cable

or

1. Insert HDMI
2. Remove HDMI

OBSERVED RESULT

Screen brightness reduced to 1%

EXPECTED RESULT

No change

I'm sorry we weren't able to respond to this report before now. Is this still a problem on Plasma 6.3.2 or later?
