Description Thomas Bach 2021-05-16 09:34:02 UTC
Sorry, i am not sure ift it is the right place here for the question:

Is it possible to start digikma with a defined search and show theses pictures directly.

I am searching about a function like in amazon photos showing the pictures from the same day the last years.

You want mean an option from command line to start digiKam with a specific search request ?

Yes

You can save searches and the search that was last set is also restored after the start.

You can then save the digikamrc configuration file and reload it with the
"--config PATH/TO/CONFIGFILE" parameter.

Since digiKam-7.2.0, the advanced search offers the option of displaying images from a month or a day of a month.
