Created attachment 138407 [details] xsession-errors SUMMARY Upgraded from Kubuntu 20.10 -> 21.04. Before upgrade, I had an instance of the system monitor widget to monitor my hard disk I/O configured on my panel. After upgrading, after logging in and plasmashell starts, it would go non-responsive, with the plasmashell process using 100% of a CPU core. Killing plasmashell would make the system responsive. I found the definition for the system monitor widget in [Containments][num][Applets][Num], deleted it from the config file, and restarted plasmashell. Problem went away STEPS TO REPRODUCE 1. Have a system monitor plasmoid defined on a panel 2. Upgrade from Kubuntu 20.10 -> 21.04 3.
