Description Podagric 2021-05-14 02:27:46 UTC
SUMMARY
The spell check packages are installed on my system, but the runner still does not work for the system language. Only definitions of English words are displayed.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
I tried to contact two developers and they both informed me basically the same thing
> The KRunner plugin uses the dataengine from plasma-workspace
> it uses Plasma::DataEngine

SOFTWARE/OS VERSIONS
KDE Plasma Version: 5.21.90
KDE Frameworks Version: 5.82.0
Qt Version: 5.15.2
Graphics Platform: X11

Confirmed, although the keyword for Krunner to recognize that we are looking for a definition is translated to the desktop language, the search terms only work if they are in English.
Please, fix it or remove it and make it available as an add-on in the KDE store, not as standard, because it is useless for most users on the planet and only makes to overload the increasingly cumbersome and heavy Krunner.
