If you select a range of frames and press "clear"  all frames should be cleared, yet not deleted.


this would be an increase in flexibility in  how to handle frames and their contents

I'm confused by what you mean by "clear" in this case. Do you mean insert blank frame?

clearing the contents of the frame but not creating new frames

Ok, for the record, I think this a good idea; However, since the string freeze for Krita 5 is happening really soon, I think I will hold of on this until the next major version.
