SUMMARY

When I open pdf file with krita from file manager, splash screen is displayed and the options dialog is shown under the splash.
Plaese hide splash when options dialog is displayed

STEPS TO REPRODUCE
Open pdf file with context menu of file manager https://imgur.com/5jH6WSA

OBSERVED RESULT

Options dialog is shown under the splash https://imgur.com/OeKDvLS
Editing is not accessible
I need to move it to change options https://imgur.com/extm3XZ

EXPECTED RESULT

Please hide splash before showing the import dialog

Please don't change the status of bugs you have reported yourself. A bug should only be set to confirmed by someone else than the reporter, after triaging.

I think this is similar/the same issue as bug 430461.
@Oleg You wrote "KDE Plasma", but the name of your Ubuntu is xUbuntu, so are you using Plasma or XFCE? For Xfce, can you please check the bug report I mentioned and try to do the same action (call Krita from console with some random, incorrect file name)? It's probably the same issue in both reports.
