SUMMARY When drawing, my sketch layers and the current layer I am working on will either delete, or combine without my input STEPS TO REPRODUCE 1. Open multiple layers 2. draw OBSERVED RESULT Layers without my input would combine, or even sometimes delete if not visible EXPECTED RESULT layers staying separate, and not being deleted SOFTWARE/OS VERSIONS Windows: Windows 10 Home macOS: Linux/KDE Plasma: (available in About System) KDE Plasma Version: KDE Frameworks Version: Qt Version: ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
Can't reproduce. Could you provide a screen recording of what happens?
The "Merge with Layer Below" action has the shortcut key "Ctrl + E" assigned by default, perhaps you have been unknowingly hitting this key combination? You can try removing the shortcut for this action and see if it happens any more.
Does this still happen for you? I've never heard of this before, and I cannot imagine how this could happen.
Created attachment 141431 [details] attachment-8501-0.html I haven't seen this recently, so whatever it was is probably gone, but I'm sure it's not due to any of my inputs my pen does have an E button, but none of my other buttons are wired to be JUST control, so I don't see how I could have accidentally pressed ctrl+E On Tue, Sep 7, 2021 at 4:33 AM Halla Rempt <bugzilla_noreply@kde.org> wrote: > https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=436905 > > Halla Rempt <halla@valdyas.org> changed: > > What |Removed |Added > > ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- > Resolution|--- |WAITINGFORINFO > Status|REPORTED |NEEDSINFO > CC| |halla@valdyas.org > Severity|grave |normal > > --- Comment #3 from Halla Rempt <halla@valdyas.org> --- > Does this still happen for you? Thanks for your comment! Automatically switching the status of this bug to REPORTED so that the KDE team knows that the bug is ready to get confirmed. In the future you may also do this yourself when providing needed information.
