SUMMARY
Effects become sluggish after PC sleep

STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Put PC to sleep mode (suspend, not hibernate)
2. Wake up computer after sleep
3. Observe bad desktop effects

OBSERVED RESULT
Sluggish effects

EXPECTED RESULT
Smooth effect as before sleep

SOFTWARE/OS VERSIONS
Linux/KDE Plasma: Arch Linux, kernel version 5.11.16
(available in About System)
KDE Plasma Version: 5.21.5
KDE Frameworks Version: 5.81.0
Qt Version: 5.15.2

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
Also, KWin shows "Desktop effects were restarted due to a graphics reset" message.
On hardware: GPU NVIDIA GeForce GTX 660, using propietary driver, version 465.27.

UPD. Window decorations of McMojave theme also get broken - they stop rerendering when making windows active/inactive or when windows are resized. Not sure if this issue related to the bug and if this is KWin's issue and not theme's.

This bug report is pretty old, sorry that we couldn't get to it sooner. I assume it's no longer relevant; if it still happens on Plasma 6, just reopen this and we'll take a look

Thank you for taking a look nonetheless. It's indeed not relevant anymore to me since I've changed my GPU. But if there is any interest, I can install this older card and check whether the bug can be reproduced.
