SUMMARY


STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Launch Discover 5.20.5
2. Click on the "Home" icon to "Return to Featured Page"

OBSERVED RESULT
An error is produced upon attempting to load content after clicking the home icon:

"Unable to load applications.  Please verify Internet connectivity."

EXPECTED RESULT
Loading of a application browsing portal to find/install new apps

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION

This had happened in the past, then it resolved after a later released update, but now it is happening once again.

This was fixed in a later version.

however I see that you are using Kali Linux, which is not appropriate for general use. You will find a million and a half other little weirdnesses, because running everything as root is explicitly unsupported and never recommended. I would encourage you to re-install your system with a more appropriate general purpose Linux distro, such as one of the ones you can see at https://kde.org/distributions.
