Description Toadfield 2021-05-05 16:35:29 UTC
I mean that window:https://i.nuuls.com/t49JA.jpeg
I can't move it around and maximize it.
And also windows in general are buggy, they sometimes flicker around.

Can you provide some steps to reproduce this bug? As is, it is unactionable.
Comment 2 Alois Wohlschlager 2021-05-08 14:16:55 UTC
That window seems to be not maximizable by design, and the "maximize" option in the window menu is greyed out. I think the maximize button in the titlebar should be hidden in this situation.

To get an error message like that you could go in dolphin, then create the file "foo.desktop" and try to execute it.
Then an error window spawns in the top left corner and you can't move it.

This doesn't only happen when I try to maximize it.
That button isn't greyed out for me for some reason.

I tested it,that doesn't only happen for error messages, that also happens for programs like sc-controller.
It happens for many programs that can't be maximized.
Comment 5 Toadfield 2021-06-14 17:47:48 UTC
This only happens when I set that windows spawn maximized in window behavior.
Comment 6 Vlad Zahorodnii 2023-01-17 13:50:17 UTC
There were changes to disable maximize button depending on the size hints. Not sure what else can be done.
