SUMMARY I have two .desktop files in folder Desktop which have the same content considering keywords. Both have "Terminal=true". Clicking in the Desktop on one works OK. Clicking on the other gives the error message (in Dutch): Waarschuwing: Kon geen interactieve shell om te starten vinden. which is a translation from: Warning: Could not find an interactive shell to start. Which is present in the language translation file konsole.pot. This behavior started after a recent update of openSUSE Tumbleweed. So I believe this is application konsole related. STEPS TO REPRODUCE 1. Put a .desktop file with Terminal=true in the Desktop folder. 2. Click on the icon of this file. 3. The konsole window appears showing this error message. OBSERVED RESULT EXPECTED RESULT The execution of the command(s) after Exec= SOFTWARE/OS VERSIONS Windows: macOS: Linux/KDE Plasma: (available in About System) KDE Plasma Version: 5.21.4 KDE Frameworks Version: 5.81.0 Qt Version: 5.15.2 ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
G'day folks, Same behaviour on my OS as below (also first observation with Plasma 5.21.4). Related may be https://classicforum.manjaro.org/index.php?topic=5720.0, but that approach may be way too old, and seems to be without effect as other but the default profile don't seem to be accepted (created, yes, but not activated/selected on restart, hence not effective), and the default profile, I don't seem to be able to modify. Others suggested to (re)move ~/Desktop/*.desktop but there is no such file at all. Cheers, Peter. --- Operating System: FreeBSD 13.0 KDE Plasma Version: 5.21.5 KDE Frameworks Version: 5.81.0 Qt Version: 5.15.2 Kernel Version: 13.0-STABLE OS Type: 64-bit Graphics Platform: X11 Memory: 7.9 GiB of RAM Graphics Processor: Mesa Intel® HD Graphics 620
