Example describing the issue

SUMMARY
With the lines drawing the printed calendar does not look very well due to the fact that numbers/week days are right-aligned without any padding.

STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Select some images
2. Start calendar tool
3. Render output with the default setting

OBSERVED RESULT
There is very little space between the end of the character and adjacent line. This looks a bit unnatural.

EXPECTED RESULT
Appearance is improved by adding some padding.
