Description Thomas Bach 2021-05-03 18:34:19 UTC
By the face recognition, i have some problems.

After the last update, i hvae a person zzABC@11# in my person list. Dont know, what ist is. Also, i cannot found any help about the parameter for face recognition. Face detection is ok, but by the recognition, the result is very bad. I treid to make a maintenance with deleting the trainig data, but nothing ist changed.

At first you shouldn't use digiKam-7.3.0 in a productive environment. At the moment I am not aware of any serious errors, but digiKam-7.3.0 is and is under major further development. We do create automatic bundles, but that doesn't mean they're stable.
I don't think digiKam created this strange tag on its own. Usually people tags are created manually or are found in an image. A test of the face recognition shows no abnormalities here. Without DebugView Logs we cannot help here ...

@Thomas,

This problem still reproducible with the new digiKam 8.2.0 pre-release Windows
installer available at usual place:

https://files.kde.org/digikam/

This new bundle is based on last Qt framework 5.15.11 and KDE framework 5.110.

Thanks in advance
