SUMMARY
I set "Turn display off" action for lid close, but laptop goes to standby instead.

STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Set "Turn display off" on lid close in systemsettings power management configuration (preferably for all 3 profiles: on AC, on battery, low battery)
2. Close lid

Apparently it was a conflict with acpid rules, not powerdevil's fault. Removing acpid solves the issue.
