SUMMARY When a process terminates, it remains in the list for a few seconds, so you can track short-lived or dying processes. However, the process isn't marked that it's already gone in any way. In classic KSysGuard the relevant line was grayed out until it disappeared. STEPS TO REPRODUCE 1. Kill a process from the process list OBSERVED RESULT Process stays for a few seconds, then disappears EXPECTED RESULT Process gets grayed out or otherwise marked as dead, then disappears SOFTWARE/OS VERSIONS Linux/KDE Plasma: git master as of 2021-04-26
