Description Daniel Kraus 2021-04-28 16:07:54 UTC
SUMMARY

When I wake my laptop with KDE neon from suspend-to-RAM, compositing is often broken. I can get it working again without having to reboot by changing any compositor-related settings (but it is a bit cumbersome to do so almost every time I open the laptop).

STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Suspend laptop.
2. Wake up laptop.

OBSERVED RESULT
No compositing (i.e., no desktop effects, no 3D).

EXPECTED RESULT
Compositing should work as it did before suspending to RAM.
