Created attachment 137978 [details] Shows the Firefox hovering issue as well as my monitor setup SUMMARY Whenever I right click in Firefox, the context menu hovering basically doesn't work, and I only usually see colours if I click onto a sub-menu, but with that the positioning is occasionally off too. STEPS TO REPRODUCE 1. Go onto any webpage/area of Firefox 2. Right click and hover over any of the context menu options OBSERVED RESULT The selected item you are hovering over does not turn blue, even if it is perfectly clickable. In sub-menus, hovers do appear but they are sometimes off-position. EXPECTED RESULT Normal context menu hovering, as with pretty much any other application. SOFTWARE/OS VERSIONS Linux/KDE Plasma: 5.11.16-arch1-1 (available in About System) KDE Plasma Version: 5.21.4 (Wayland) KDE Frameworks Version: 5.81.0 Qt Version: 5.15.2 ADDITIONAL INFORMATION I have a multimonitor setup with two monitors, not sure if it's a multimonitor glitch or not, so the video contains my monitor setup
Works alright now for some reason, after a restart or two, which further shows it's an inconsistency thing.
IIRC this is a known graphics bug under Wayland with Firefox. Moving to KWin, since this is unrelated to the GTK theme.
Should be fixed in Firefox 89.
