SUMMARY Hello, The dialogs "Edit Metadata" --> "Edit IPTC"/"Edit XMP" --> "Properties" have a field called Attribute, which has the following 22 entries: - 001 Current - 002 Analysis - 003 Archive ... - 022 Press Release As far as I know these entries are the Genre-Codes defined by IPTC organisation. (1) Would it be better to call the field "Genre" instead of "Attribute". (2) The current IPTC list at http://cv.iptc.org/newscodes/genre contains 47 elements, but digiKam has only 22. The German translation (Redaktionelle Beschreibung) is perfectly fine. Here the translators have definitely looked at the "Whats This" description. I guess you are a German user? Well, with ExifTool the tag has little to do with genre and is called there: Object Attribute Reference. Many of the missing attributes were only added to the standard in 2020. Maik
