Description James 2021-04-26 07:38:36 UTC
SUMMARY
EKOS after meridian flip will try and solve as part of the alignment procedure, but if solve fails the capture process will be halted. This is very frustrating and will sometimes occur because focus is out, clouds or backlash meant stars were trailing. Likely same issue as Bug 425567, but relates to solve rather than calibration.

Need to make EKOS continue to take frames to solve until some timeout limit.

I cant confirm if latest patches fix as its my stable build system.

Using Kstars 3.5.2.

This is is still happening on 3.5.5 beta. Can we allow solve to say have 5 attempts before giving up?
