Wondering if it is possible to have a feature where you can sort the faces in the unknown group in an incremental manner according to similarity/alignments? This is possible with other program called FaceSwap by using openCV. (Note: Different program on the link to demonstrate example of such feature) https://github.com/deepfakes/faceswap/issues/252 https://forum.faceswap.dev/viewtopic.php?t=27#sort I believe this could further enhance the speed of managing faces where we can just batch tag a row of faces that has been sorted.
I think this is a duplicate to Bug 444160 which touches the same issue.

Do you mean that after you name photo digiKam have to find the similar photo or what? May be you mean that digiKam has to group similar photos?

Picasa had a feature that would group unknown faces that were very similar - for example a photo series from a burst shot. The feature then grouped these very similar faces to one entry to allow to name the face in one action.
