fortisslvpn otp dialog

SUMMARY
I configured a FortiSSL Vpn in NetworkManager with One Time Password enabled in advanced settings. The problem is that the dialog in which I should write the token pops for less than a second (video included)

STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Configure FortiSSL VPN in NetworkManager with OTP authentication
2. Enable the new VPN from the applet

OBSERVED RESULT

The dialog for inserting the token auto-hides/closes suddenly.

EXPECTED RESULT

The dialog should wait for the token.

(available in About System)
KDE Plasma Version: 5.21.4

I think this is similar to this bug in Gnome :
https://gitlab.gnome.org/GNOME/NetworkManager-fortisslvpn/-/issues/45 related to this : https://gitlab.gnome.org/GNOME/NetworkManager-fortisslvpn/-/issues/56

and probably solved by this merge request: https://gitlab.gnome.org/GNOME/NetworkManager-fortisslvpn/-/merge_requests/26

I'm not sure (in fact I have no idea) how this translates into plasma-nm, but I feel the solution in around the corner.

In the meantime, I set the password to "Ask each time" so I can get and insert the OTP.

Notice this happens in Kunbutu with Plasma 5.27.11 for me.
