Thumbnails are very useful, however there are cases in which it is not convenient to have thumbnails of certain files or folders. They can be, for example, secret files or folders or that their owner simply does not want there to be thumbnails of them. To solve this situation I propose to KDE to include an option in folders and files that tells the thumbnail creator not to do its work with that file or folder. Maybe an exclude files and exclude folders in config file.
In Dolphin, you can make it use per-folder settings and turn off thumbnails for those folders.

Konqueror probably has the same setting, but I don't know for sure as I don't use it.
Created attachment 137969 [details] attachment-7323-0.html Hi I understand that you mean to "Remember display style for each folder" but enabling it does not appear any option that refers to the thumbnails. If you know her, please tell me.
